Get To Know Me
Growing up in the countryside of East Texas, surrounded by her parents, sister, cousins and grandparents, Sheana had a fulfilling childhood. From a young age, she developed a strong sense of service to others, always willing to lend a hand or offer support where needed. After graduation, she began her career in medicine while pursuing a nursing degree in college. Like many Americans watching the Gulf War unfold on television, Sheana felt a deep calling to serve her country and enlisted in the U.S. Army. As a Combat Medic with a true passion for medicine, she aspired to attend the military’s prestigious Physician Assistant Program and retire as a Warrant Officer. However, a career-ending injury soon altered those plans, but Sheana’s grit and determination were unshaken.
Sheana and her family left the military and returned to East Texas, where she earned her Associate’s Degree from Kilgore College. She then attended the University of Texas at Tyler and later Texas A&M University-Commerce, working toward a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After relocating to Wise County for her husband’s work, she enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington but unfortunately sustained a significant head injury that cut her schooling short. Yet, she refused to let this setback define her.
Sheana and her husband then launched an expedited trucking company servicing the oil and gas industry. Taking on full-time sales for the business, she helped grow the company to nearly $1 million in annual revenue within its first year. When the Barnett Shale dried up, Sheana dedicated much of her time to her girls' ministry and served as a student leader at her local church, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to supporting and uplifting others.
Before venturing into real estate, Sheana spent three years serving as the Public Relations Director for a non-profit organization in Wise County, continually displaying her relentless work ethic and dedication to making a positive impact on her community.
Outside of work and service, Sheana and her family love gathering around good food, floating the river, traveling, camping, hiking and playing games. Unfortunately, they are diehard Dallas Cowboys fans—so much so that they even had three dogs named Dallas, Cowboy, and Rowdy.
